We finally have our new girl at home with us, she is from Xsanda kennel in Sweden. 
Arizona is a half sister to our Zola, so we are more than happy with her pedigree, and we are very excited to see what she brings to our kennel.

We have  a singleton boy out of our Zola and Bailey - you can see more about the litter here.
Zola is doing great and is such a good mom and the puppy is happy as a hippo. 

We also had a dogshow last weekend were we showed our precious boy Bailey. 
ISCH BPIS BBIS Crystal Eye´s Picasso Painter in Champion class : EXL, CK, Best Male 1, with CACIB and BOS. 

We had for the first time a speciality only for Tibetan breeds here in Iceland.

ISJCH RW-16 Xsanda Beyond My Wildest Dreams - Zola was BB-1 with EXL, CK,  CAC, JCAC, Best Junior in Breed, Best of Breed, 2nd Best Junior in Show and 4th Best in Show.

We had a double outdoor show 23-24th of July and we are very happy with the results :D

Last weekend we had our first show of the year, and what a show that was. 

On Saturday we had our Lhasa Apso girl Zola, first time as a junior. 

BPIS Xsanda Beyond My Wildest Dreams " Zola"  got Excellent, 1st place, CK, Best Bitch -1, CAC, BOB and later that day she got BIG-2  in a huge group with over 20 dogs. Only 10 months old!!!!

Later that day Maura got her eyes examined and she has CLEAR eyes!! :D

We sent x-rays of Maura´s hips to the SKK for evaluation and it came back a few days later,

Later this month she will have her eye´s check´d and we have a show the last weekend of February. 
Sparta, Maura and Zola will be attending. 

Zola will be for the first time in junior class, but she was Best Puppy in Show in November. 
Maura has been in a little show break, but this year she will be seen a little more :)
Sparta never misses a show, so ofcourse she was entered. 

Bailey and Sirkus are staying home but Bailey is growing his coat back and hopefully we will see him back in the ring this summer. 

A lot is happening here at Winter Island, and our pack might be growing bigger this year, news of that later :)

Today we came home after a great weekend in Lilleström, Norway, with me came our new import Zola - Xsanda Beyond My Wildest Dreams who is now 5 months old 
I want to thank her breeders Annette Jörgensen and Juha Kukkonen for trusting me with her, she is a little bundle of joy and I am sure we will have a lot of fun together and a great future.

A double outdoor show has just finished and we are very pleased with our results.

We had mated our lovely Sparta with a handsome male we have known since birth, Eros. 

Miðnætur Erotic Eros is owned by a close friend of mine and bred by another friend of mine.
So I was very happy to use this stunning male, He has alot of qualities and for my taste he and Sparta match perfectly together. 



After waiting for 9 weeks we ended up the morning of 8th of August at the hospital in a C-section. 
A gorgeous light red and white preemie puppy had entered the world. I could not wish for anything else and our journey was started. 

To say that it was a dream come true and that all was just joy and happiness would be a lie. 
The hardest weeks of my live had begun. As I said earlier she was a preemie pup, born approx. 5 days before she was ready. 

She had no hair on her muzzle or feet and she did not breath normally. The vet said that she had undeveloped lungs, and the only thing we could do was to wait. So we did. 

She did not feed without help, so the timer was set every 2 hours day and night to wake up and help her feed from her moma. 

Her weight went up and down and she had to visit the vet 2 times her first 5 days to get water injected under her skin to keep her hydrated. This little girl was a fighter and she was not going down without a fight. 

At 10 days old I thought I would loose her, she started to make these awful sounds like she was in a great deal of pain. I cuddled her all night and tried to make everything comfortable for her and took her to the vets when the sounds got so horrible that I cried with her. She was so little and her tiny body screamed so loud. 
Our doctor said she was alright and I didn´t need to worry, the sounds was just her trying to get more air and her lungs was probably trying to develop. 

When she was 2 weeks she had gotten more hair and she started to breath normally. After that all went up, she started drinking her self and then eating food. It took her a little bit more time than other puppies to open her eyes and start to walk, but she got the hang of it. 

Her name is Maura, named after the most brilliant doctor I have ever seen. 

Being a singleton pup life can be hard,she knows that the sun revolves around her :) and she has a lot of attitude.
